About Us

NECA Intermountain Chapter BuildingThe Intermountain Chapter serves Utah and Western Slope of Colorado. Our member-firms are electrical contractors serving their communities in Salt Lake City, Provo, Ogden, Logan, Grand Junction and other cities.

NECA electrical contractors give you more of what you’re looking for – in performance and value! Whether you’re interested in renewing an industrial facility, installing the latest limited energy system technologies, design-bid commercial applications, or wiring a custom home, NECA contractors will give you the help you need to build your project the right way – and they’ll save you time, headaches, and money in the process.

Chartered in 1945, the Intermountain Chapter of NECA has served its members and the electrical contracting industry for more than 63 years! We are a local branch of a national organization with 118 Chapters that began in 1901. NECA policies are set by its members who are represented by an elected Board of Directors. Chapter officers and staff implement policy as directed by the Board. NECA’s basic objectives are:

  • To provide educational opportunities for electrical contractors to help them remain profitable in an extremely competitive business.
  • To promote effective, and harmonious labor-management relations.
  • To represent, promote, and advance the interests of its electrical contractor members.
