President’s Message January 2013

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas season and that 2013 is filled with prosperity, health and opportunity for each of us in the Intermountain Chapter. Congratulations and best wishes to Bob May in his new position as NECA District 8 Vice President.  A press release from NECA concerning this new position can be found here: http://blog.necaconvention.org/district-8-vice-president-nominee-bob-may/ We want to invite everyone to attend our industry night with David Long.  David is the President of Miller Electric based in Jacksonville, Florida.  David is a proponent of the CW/CE program and will explain the success he has seen as a result of implementation of the program.  I was able to hear David speak a few weeks ago and know that what he will explain to us will be beneficial to our individual companies and our association.  We will have the opportunity to meet with David on January 16^th.  More information will be provided as details are confirmed. Our annual meeting is scheduled for March 13-15^th at the Maui Hyatt on beautiful Kaanapali Beach.  Please contact Kim in the NECA office if you have any questions concerning reservations, etc.  I hope everyone is planning on being in attendance at this great event. I appreciate each of you who serve on our various committees.  Many of you spend a great deal of time to serve our association.  Thank you.  It is a pleasure to be associated with you.
